Fit this hand-painted number into a birthday ring or into any other of GRIMM's table decorations (hearts, leaves, branches or lifelights) to celebrate milestones such as birthdays, graduations and anniversaries. GRIMM'S uses mostly European cherry, maple, alder and lime wood to craft their toys. The pieces are colored with non-toxic waterbased stains and finished with a natural plant-based oil. Fairy Tale Number "5" (Robin Hood) is crafted in Germany by GRIMM'S Spiel and Holz Design. Note about GRIMM'S colors: You may notice some paint transference on the wood. This is not considered a defect as the pieces are unlacquered. GRIMM'S does not use lacquer in order to preserve the natural look and feel of the wood (which is in line with their aim to design toys according to principles of Waldorf and Montessori education).
