A good toy requires children to exercise their imaginations during play. The form and decoration of a Holztiger figure is kept simple just for this purpose. Holztiger figures are made of hardwood (usually maple) from sustainably managed forests. They are painted by hand and then given a clear protective topcoat to make them resistant to damage from moisture. All paints, varnishes and wood stains are water-based and free from harmful solvents. *Please note that due to size variations, we recommend you check the dimensions of each figure.
