These beautiful undulating blocks are inspired by nature. They can be stacked, nested or used for imaginative play. The waves represent the element of water. You can collect the rest of the Four Elements: air, earth/stone and fire. These puzzles are also available in a smaller size. GRIMM'S uses alder, lime, maple and cherry wood to craft their toys. Each wooden block is cut and sanded by hand, so there are no sharp edges or corners. The waterbased dyes used to decorate this toy meet European safety standards as well as the new CPSIA (USA) requirements. Medium Water Stacker is made in Germany by GRIMM'S Spiel and Holz Design. Remarks about GRIMM'S colors: You may notice some paint transference on the wood. This is not considered a defect as the blocks are unlacquered. GRIMM'S does not use lacquer in order to preserve the natural feel of the wood (which is in line with their aim to design toys according to principles of Waldorf and Montessori education).
