Holztiger Chameleon

Solid Old World craftsmanship and simple designs that highlight the natural beauty of wood are what characterizes a Holztiger toy.

 

A lot of work goes into making a Holztiger toy. Each figure is handcrafted and painted with loving attention to detail. Holztiger play animals are made of solid hardwood (usually maple) and are decorated with non-toxic water paints. The grain of the wood is still visible even after painting, so that the full character of the wood is retained. A supplementary water-based lacquer is applied to make the figures resistant to perspiration and saliva.

All Holztiger figures meet and exceed US and European safety standards for toys (EN 71/ASTM F963). Holztiger Chameleon is crafted in Europe.
