The quality and beauty of a Holztiger wooden figure can be appreciated by both the young and the young at heart. Holztiger toys are made of solid hardwood (usually maple, but sometimes beech, birch or oak) from sustainably managed forests. They are decorated by hand with water-based paints that are free from harmful solvents. The grain of the wood is still visible even after painting, so that the full character of the wood is retained. A supplementary water-based topcoat is applied to make the figures resistant to damage from perspiration and saliva. As Holztiger figures vary in size, be sure to check the dimensions given below.
