This graceful butterfly can be inserted into a birthday ring or into any other of GRIMM's decorations (e.g. hearts, leaves, branches or lifelights) to celebrate special occasions or the changing of the seasons. The wooden butterfly is hand-painted with non-toxic waterbased stains and finished with a natural oil. The butterfly is connected to the base with a thin wire. Pink Butterfly is crafted in Germany by GRIMM'S Spiel and Holz Design. Note about GRIMM'S colors: You may notice some paint transference on the wood. This is not considered a defect as the pieces are unlacquered. GRIMM'S does not use lacquer in order to preserve the natural look and feel of the wood (which is in line with their aim to design toys according to principles of Waldorf and Montessori education). Age: This is not a toy. It is for decoration only.
