Holztiger wooden toys have a timeless charm and beauty. Each figure is handcrafted from European hardwood (maple, oak, beech or birch). After the figures are cut, primed and finish-sanded, they are decorated by hand with non-toxic water-based stains. An additional water-based lacquer is applied to make the figures resistant to perspiration and saliva before the Holztiger logo is burnt in. Please note that Holztiger play animals can vary quite a bit size-wise, so be sure to check the dimensions of each figure. All Holztiger figures meet and exceed US and European safety standards for toys (EN 71/ASTM F963). Holztiger Turkey is crafted in Germany.
