Holztiger Standing Deer Fawn

Holztiger toys are designed to encourage creativity through play. The forms are purposely reduced to the minimum to stimulate children's imaginations.

 

Holztiger figures are produced from high quality European hardwood - most often maple. Maple is hard, durable, and has a beautiful grain. Depending on requirements, oak, beech or birch may also be used. The figures are colored with water-based paints. The paints do not obscure the natural surface of the wood. To make the figures resistant to perspiration and saliva, each toy is subsequently painted with a clear water lacquer.  Holztiger figures conform with the European and US safety directives for toys. The paints and varnishes are also subject to constant quality controls by German supervisory authorities.
