Slip the cube out of the box and let your creative juices flow. How many different designs can you come up with? And when you're done playing, try fitting the cubes back into the box. GRIMM's Hexahedron promotes motor skills, creativity and a sense of form and color. Includes 16 beechwood block pieces and a black plywood box. GRIMM'S Hexahedron is colored with safe waterbased stains. Crafted in Germany by GRIMM'S Spiel und Holz Design. Note about GRIMM'S colors: You may notice some paint transference on the blocks. This is not considered a defect as the blocks are unlacquered. GRIMM'S does not use lacquer in order to preserve the natural feel of the wood (which is in line with their aim to design toys according to principles of Waldorf and Montessori education). Unlacquered blocks are also easier to build with as they are less likely to slip. Age: 4 years + (small parts - choking hazard.) Height: box - 10 cm (3.9 in.)
