Who can make a closed loop? Who can build the tallest structure? Who can make a winding road? Use these wavy blocks to create an intricate design or for stacking. This set includes 30 wooden blocks. GRIMM'S uses mainly alder, maple, lime and cherry wood to make their toys. This set of blocks is decorated with kid-friendly waterbased dyes. Monte Carlo Curved Blocks are made in Germany by GRIMM'S Spiel und Holz. Note about GRIMM'S colors: You may notice some paint transference on the blocks. This is not considered a defect as the blocks are unlacquered. GRIMM'S does not use lacquer in order to preserve the natural feel of the wood (which is in line with their aim to design toys according to principles of Waldorf and Montessori education). Unlacquered blocks are also easier to build with as they are less likely to slip. Age: 3 years + (small parts - choking hazard) Dimensions: thickness - 2 cm (0.8 in.) length of shortest piece - approx. 4 cm (1.6 in.)
