Mimi the Sardine Rose Garden Placemat is made from organic cotton that has been treated with an environmentally-sound coating (water-based acrylic) to make it permanently water and soil resistant. Just wipe and machine wash as needed. The fabric is produced in accordance with strict environmental laws and is Oeko-Tex 100 certified. An Oeko-Tex certification is a declaration to consumers that the cloth does not contain chemicals and components harmful to their health. No chlorine is used in the production process, and only water soluble dyes are used. This placemat is designed by Swedish designer, Helen Trast, and manufactured in California.
