Lyra GROOVE Colored Pencils (Set of 10)

Lyra GROOVE pencils come with built-in instructions! GROOVE intuitively achieves ergonomically correct positioning of the fingers when drawing or writing.

 

Children's fingers will naturally come to rest in the grooves provided for them. The grooves are offset ergonomically, so that all the fingers involved (index, middle finger and thumb) come to rest just where they should be, whether the child is right- or left-handed. Even after sharpening, the grooves are still located in the correct positions.

 

GROOVE colored pencils are water-resistant, made of lacquered wood, have a three-sided shape, and have break-resistant leads. Wood for Lyra pencils come from forests managed in a sustainable manner (PEFC). Certified non-toxic by the ACMI (Art and Creative Materials Institute). Lyra has been making pencils in Germany since 1806.
