Create a scene from the Arabian Nights by accenting your 1001 Nights wooden block structures with some glass beads, silk scarves, sand or small figurines. You can also combine this set with the small four element puzzles made by GRIMM'S (sold separately) to build even more fantastical creations. This set includes 45 blocks and a wooden case with plexiglass cover and rope handle. Each wooden block is cut and sanded by hand, so there are no sharp edges or corners. The blocks are then decorated using safe waterbased dyes and a natural oil finish. Oriental Building Set 1001 Nights is crafted in Germany by GRIMM'S Spiel and Holz Design. *Note: This set should not be confused with the larger 1001 Nights Building Set made by GRIMM'S. Remarks on GRIMM'S colors: You may notice some paint transference on the blocks. This is not considered a defect as the blocks are unlacquered. GRIMM'S does not use lacquer in order to preserve the natural feel of the wood (which is in line with their aim to integrate aspects of Waldorf and Montessori education into their toymaking).
