Product Details
Natursutten Star Teether is a safe and natural alternative to plastic teething toys. Star Teether is made of exactly the same material used to manufacture Natursutten pacifiers: pure natural rubber from the tree Hevea brasilienses. It is free of bisphenol-A (BPA), phthalates, PVC, lead, silicone, nitrosamine and other harmful chemicals. The protein which on rare occasions can provoke a latex allergy is eliminated during production. With that said, we would never recommend using a product made from natural rubber for a child with a diagnosed latex allergy.

Natursutten Teether's star shape is easy for babies to grasp. The toy is soft, but yet firm enough to help reduce the discomfort of teething.

This infant teething toy complies with EN 71, a European norm concerned with safety of children's products, and U.S. safety standards, ASTM F963. *Please note that for hygiene reasons, pacifiers cannot be returned. Natursutten Natural Rubber Teether is made in Italy.

Care:
  • Before first use, sterilize the teether by immersing it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Let it cool before giving it to your baby.
  • Clean teether frequently with warm water and mild liquid soap.
  • Do not place teether in the dishwasher.
  • Store the teething toy in a clean container away from sunlight or heat. Do not expose it to excessive heat or direct sunlight for an extended period of time.
  • The color of the toy will become darker over time. This is perfectly natural and to be expected as Natursutten Star Teether is made of 100% natural rubber, with no chemicals or anti-oxidants to keep it light yellow.
  • Inspect the teether regularly, and discard if you see any damage.
  • Star Teether may be placed in the refrigerator, but NEVER in the freezer.
